Underwhelmed. Probably okay for young kids as there are a few animals to see but the place is very small and not well-maintained. Animals are in tight areas and a lot of the enclosures have overgrown plants and trees. So, visibility of some animals is quite bad. Definitely not comfortable for them. It is really small. Was surprised at how small actually because from the outside it looks big. £4 for probably an hour's visit. To be honest, I didn't wanna stay longer than that because it isn't pleasant or peaceful inside. It all just feels crammed. I wouldn't recommend making a dedicated trip. Cannon Hill Park is near by. If you were going there as well then it may be okay to visit.
A really nice afternoon out. It obviously isn't as big as London zoo or West Midlands Safari Park but is a fraction of the price and kept my kids occupied for a few hours. There is a good selection of animals to see and all the facilities that you need. All the staff I met were friendly.
There was plenty to see and do and all of the animals seemed happy and well cared for. A lot of the work is carried out by volunteers who seem passionate about what they do which is great to see. The cafe area is okay but could do with a bit of a refresh... maybe a little more choice on the menu but it was fine for what we wanted. Great for young family’s as it’s nice a small compared to a zoo... good for seeing how a little one will enjoy it before paying out high zoo prices. A great little gem near the city centre that I would definitely visit again Amazing value for money!
Wonderful place. Knowledgeable staff and very friendly . Super day out for all the family Cafe is reasonably priced, but plenty of picnic tables for your own food. Can't wait to go again!
Really great place to take children, nice variety of animals (even had a Komodo dragon last time we went!) And nice play area. Cafe is also nice, food is good and a good sized soft play area for the children. Only reason I've left a star off, it is quite pricey in my opinion for entry
