We had yet again another wonderful stay at the Novotel Brighton in Sydney. Although the rooms may be a little out-dated, that in no way compares to the professional, friendly and 'just right' customer service offered. Normally breakfasts in a large hotel are very impersonal and a bit hit and miss. However, we had a delightful breakfast manager and an even more obliging young chef who cooked my omelette to perfection! The rooms themselves were clean, tidy and what a beautiful view of the water and beach you receive from this hotel! We will be back again :)

I enjoyed my stay at the Novatel Brighton Beach. The room and bathroom was huge with plenty of space. I had a balcony with a great view of the Bay. It was close to good restaurants and cafes but very quiet at night. No traffic or aircraft noise. The staff at check in and out were very friendly and helpful. The room could do with a bit of a make over, though the bed was comfortable and the room clean.

Service was good, apart from the guy who checked us in forgot to mention that we purchase the parking ticket from the hotel reception so ended up paying more than expected ! But at the end it was sort of rectified. The room was average, no fly screens for the balcony so couldn’t enjoy the breeze without having all the insects come in. I believe it could use a good face lift. Overall I would recommend possibly staying at another hotel for that price !

The room was well appointed and there was a chill bottle of champagne waiting for us and a welcome note which we appreciated was a great welcome. The seafood buffet was superb and was finished off with a lovely desert provided by the restaurant with happy anniversary written on dish. Overall a pleasant enjoyable experience for both of us. The spa in the room also gave us a relaxing time together.

Great welcoming staff. Got told I was upgraded to an ocean view room. Room was spotless. Every single staff was polite and helpful. I was there to welcome family member from Europe and they were impressed by your hotel standards.
