A really nice pub that is in a beautiful rustic building. They serve a great selection of food and are always friendly. They have a large beer garden with rabbits and chickens that wonder around sometimes giving the pub a very friendly atmosphere. Seating indoors can be limited and the do not accept reservations in holiday time but taking the risk of getting a table is more than worth it. However outdoor seating is plentiful if weather permits

The welcome and atmosphere were top notch. It's a fantastic pub, very busy. I really enjoyed my veg curry, the best in a long while. My husband's fish and chips were a massive disappointment and definitely not worth the price tag. We had better seafront chips for £2.

Beautifully presented food, in a well-presented and cosy surrounding served by friendly and helpful staff. Holidays and weekends are BUSY, so bookings are NOT taken, but tables can clear relatively quickly; enjoy a drink in the garden while you're waiting. Simple but varied menu with daily specials. Good sized portions and excellent value. Parking at rear. Beers on draft (at time of posting): Otter, Sea Fury & Doombar. Kids will love the lights in the bar and Monday night is Magic Night from around 5.30pm. Friday is fish night, so usually a good selection of fish and shellfish.
